![]() Ive tried installing legacy hardware too and it did not work either. This package provides the driver for the ASMedia USB3 Host Controller and is supported on XPS Notebook, Dell S&P, Latitude, Precision and Tablet running Windows 7/Windows 8.1/Windows 10. I have tried usb power suspend in power management too. ASMedia USB 3.0 Extended Host Controller Driver. I have made sure in my Bios to enable all ports and USB 3.0 support and its strange because it says asmedia usb 3.0 ,in my bios, legacy support enabled and all usb 3.0 enabled but then nothing in my drivers so I dont know how to activate my ports again. ![]() My usb ports still function because when I plug in my phone or another device it charges the device. I have tried manually installing asmedia 3.0 host and it still say cannot be found. Whenever it tries to install the USB updates it says my asmedia driver could not be found. I even tried installing old chipset drivers that had descriptions for usb 3.0 drivers and still nothing. I have also uninstalled all controller devices and restarted my pc to see fi they would install correctly and still nothing. I have installed the latest BIOs, chipset, and motherboard OS updates and still havent gotten iy. My usb 3.0 drivers are not in device manager or listed in hidden devices either.
